Arkansas 2011-2012 Proposed Season Dates Options
Pluck-A-Duck Goose Lodge is looking forward to another extremely successful duck and goose season following an extraordinary 2010 season. We typicaly kill thousands of ducks each year. The number of ducks has increased 11% over 2010 numbers and 35% over the long term average. This is only the 5th time in the duck count studies histroy that the number of ducks has exceeded 40 Million, this year the number was 45+ Million This information, coupled with our stringent Waterfowl Management practices, abundance of hunting areas, trained retrievers and Professional Guides help us to provide you with a productive, consistent and rememberable hunting experience.
With all of the prime areas that Pluck-A-Duck has for hunting, you and your party will have the opportunity to hunt ducks out of a variety of blinds such as pits, floating blinds, standing blinds and layout blinds in flooded rice and soybean fields, flooded timber, or river hunting with our experienced local guides.
Our guides scout in the afternoon in order to put you where the ducks are the next morning, whether it be in a field or in timber, we do all we can to ensure you are in the best place possible.
Duck Hunts will be for Mallards, Pintails, Teal, Redheads, Gadwall, Wigeon, Wood Ducks and several other species.
Goose Hunts will target Snow, Specklebellies and Canada Geese.
We will furnish transportation to and from your blind, pit , timber or other hunting ares. You will have a duck hunt in the morning and a goose hunt in the afternoon if you choose, we an also arrange for an outside quail hunt, visit World Famous Mack's Prarie Wings in Stuttgart, Ar or just relax in our comfortable spacious lodge. When you return from a productive hunt, and if you prefer not to clean your own birds, we will take them to the local processor for you and will pick them up packaged and ready on your date of departure. You are welcome to bring your own dog if you choose.
